Rangers' latest transfer target is Alex Pritchard of Tottenham Hotspur, according to a new rumour surfacing this evening.
Pritchard, whom Mark Warburton previously had on loan at Brentford, spent this season on loan again, this time at West Bromwich Albion.
Now, a few things. Firstly, the rumour comes from 'Football Insider' - hardly the most reliable of sources, and it seems an easy one to put together based on the fact that the player has a history with Mr Warburton.
Secondly, though, Pritchard is 23. And on loan to a Premier League side. It's the sort of age where a team like Spurs are either going to move him on permanently or give him a shot in their own team. And if they did, it wouldn't make sense, after a loan to a Premier League side.
This one might turn up in another source because it's an obvious 2+2 idea but we'd be very surprised if there was any possibility of this happening.
