Jason Holt is only out of the Rangers team with a minor knee knock and should be ready to return to the team for our next game, according to Mark Warburton.
Mr Warburton said that he decided not to risk Holt and wanted to give other members of the squad such as Gedion Zelalem and Jordan Thompson the chance to shine while talking before kick-off against Morton at Cappielow Park.
The news should come as a relief, although it would be nice to get a chance to see what Thompson can bring to the team - if we're trying (and, in the case of Toumani Diagouraga, failing) to sign midfielders, it's surely worth seeing what a highly-rated youngster we already have at the club is capable of, especially since the former Manchester United man impressed so much in his brief cameos to date.
