Rangers' transfer pursuit of Michael O'Halloran looks like it will soon be coming to a favourable conclusion.
The move to bring the St. Johnstone forward to Ibrox has stalled lately, but with the deal for Toumani Diagouraga falling through, the club are determined not to let another key target of Mark Warburton get away. The manager had already earmarked one other SPFL winger as an alternative, but a third bid is expected for O'Halloran soon which should hopefully seal the deal, with the clubs far closer to an agreement.

The Daily Mail also reports that personal terms have been agreed in principle - hardly a surprise given how long the transfer has been in the works.
A timescale for the deal isn't clear, although it's still possible that Warburton's prediction of having new faces at the club before Monday's trip to Morton will prove correct. Saints are of course taking the trip to Parkhead at 3pm today - whether he'll be in the squad or not will be interesting.
