Rangers look like they could be about to sign one of their transfer targets of the window, although it's not the one everybody wanted.
Mekhi Leacock-Macleod, who was on trial this month from Wolves, looks like he'll shortly become a Rangers player, according to Sky Sports' Pete O'Rourke:
Wolves youngster Mekhi Leacock McLeod is on the verge of signing for Rangers after clubs come to agreement. #wwfc #Rangers

Leacock-Macleod (what is it with all these double-barreled footballers down South?) appears to be a winger and attacking midfielder, and has been pretty highly-rated in his career, although has presumably lost his way, first moving from Fulham to Wolves and now leaving them, too.
Mark Warburton and Frank McParland presumably think they can turn him into a player, although whether he'll get much action this season even if we do sign him remains to be seen. Still, welcome aboard, pal.
