Rangers will find out how long Joe Garner will be out of action for as he visits a specialist today.
The striker picked up the injury during the Hogmanay Old Firm game, and the Daily Record report that, if he ends up requiring surgery, could miss up to three months of action for Rangers.
Whether we'll find out ourselves, of course, remains to be seen. Mark Warburton keeps his cards pretty close to his chest when it comes to discussing injuries, often understating them, or in the case of Jordan Rossiter point-blank refusing to discuss them.
Hopefully, we won't be missing him too long. While Garner hasn't exactly been a goal machine so far in his Rangers career, we don't have too many other options and he works reasonably well with the rest of the team. In what's been a pretty awful season for injuries already, losing Garner for such a length of time would be seriously grim.
