Rangers have this week released three Academy players as Graeme Murty and Craig Mulholland continue their overhaul of the Auchenhowie set-up. Scott Roberts, Tom Walsh and Ryan Sinnamon have all been allowed to leave the club early ahead of their contracts expiring at the end of the season.

Roberts, who has been on loan at Raith Rovers, is expected to sign a short-term permanent deal at Stark’s Park after impressing Rovers’ boss Gary Locke in his 16 appearances for the Fifers.

Full-back Ryan Sinnamon was most recently at League Two Annan Athletic, where he appeared 9 times and also had a loan spell with Falkirk in 2015.

Tom Walsh made a number of appearances for the first team but failed to nail down a regular place at Ibrox and had loan stints at Stenhousemuir, Dumbarton and St. Mirren after joining the club aged 11.
