Rangers don’t play for a while due to the international break, but our left-back Borna Barisic is starting for Croatia, the World Cup finalists. Not bad, eh?

If you want to catch their game - a friendly vs Portugal - then you’re mostly out of luck if you’re in the UK or Canada, but bears in the US will be able to catch it on ESPN.

Barisic has a few games for Croatia under his belt already, but he’s looking to replace Ivan Strinic at the left-back role, and should have a good chance of making the spot his own if he continues to perform for club and country. He’s gotten off to a decent start for Rangers, so hopefully he can continue to shine for both teams.

And hopefully, he won’t be the only Rangers defender in the Croatian squad if Nikola Katic continues his fine form.

Elsewhere, Ross McCrorie is starting for the Scotland youths against Andorra, while Alfredo Morelos could see action against Venezuela and Argentina on Saturday and Wednesday respectively. Ryan Jack has also been called up as a late addition to our own national team, although it’s not clear if he’ll be more than backup at this point.
