In his first interview since joining the club on loan until the end of the season, Emerson Hyndman has spoken to RangersTV about looking forward to playing in front of the "unbelievable” Rangers support.

On Rangers’ style of play

"I think they (Rangers and parent club Bournemouth) have a similar style and a similar way of playing, which is nice as it makes an easier transition, and all the boys were helping me out today which was good"

"It’s (the style of play) very good in the way they like to press but when they have the ball the like to keep it and attack."

"(Eddie Howe) had no problems about me coming here as he fully believes the manager here is very good and is good with young players aswell so he had no problem signing me over to the manager."

On choosing to join Rangers

"It’s a massive club, they’re fighting for europe, there’s good players here and I think it’s a good opportunity for me to play in a good environment and in front of 50,000 fans at home, which is just unbelievable. To be exposed to that at my age is always good thing and, obviously, what I want to do is be a good player for Rangers but getting that experience can only be a good thing for me."

"I obviously knew about Rangers growing up, it’s one of those worldwide brands, and Scottish league is quite big really. It’s on TV a lot and I catch games all the time. When I realised Rangers were interested I was really interested in coming over."

On what type of player he is

"I like to get on the ball. I’m a technical player and I like to pass the ball about. Obviously I just want to help the team and my team mates and I want to supply and score goals."

On the facilities at Rangers

The training ground here is excellent, it’s really top notch. When they were showing me around here I was thinking ‘I can’t believe how big this place is’ but I was really excited to see how big the training facilities were and the staff here are brilliant; they’re here for you all the time and I can already recognise that.

On his aims over his loan spell

"I just want to do the best I can. I hope it comes sooner than later, as quick as possible, but I know I’m here to compete, just like everyone else here is, and earn my spot. I hope that happens quickly but if it takes longer then that’s ok."
