Lewis Moult is one player whose name has been appearing through some oft-reliable sources on fan forums and Twitter, and he seems to fit Mark Warburton's blueprint: youngish, English, and hunners of former clubs. This one hasn't made it to the papers yet, but we wouldn't be too shocked to see it appear sometime soon.

As for the other names we've been linked with pursuing, such as Greg Stewart, there aren't any further updates. There has also been a suggestion Mr Warburton will look to move for Harry Winks on loan from Tottenham, a move we suggested could take place after earlier reports that our manager might be heading to North London's loan market once more.

Most importantly, hear from the man himself. Mr Warburton reckons we'll be adding four or five players to the squad (presumably in addition to the two incoming arrivals of Josh Windass and Matt Crooks) and one of them will be a centre-back:

"In defence, Rob Kiernan has been outstanding, as has Danny Wilson.

"We will add one more because we'll need more numbers next year but we'll look for quality to add to the group.

"We'll add four or five players to the group overall."
