Italian international midfielder could be Rangers' key target - reports

Yep, another candidate for the 'mystery signing.'

Rangers' 'mystery signing' is no closer to being discovered, and indeed we have a fourth name emerging in tomorrow's papers after Joao Pereira, Jon Toral and Emyr Huws were all previously linked (which you can read more on below.)

The new name in question is Italian one-cap wonder Diego Fabbrini, an attacking midfielder who played for - you guessed it - Watford, being a Pozzo-family import from Udinese. Since then, he's moved on to Birmingham City, where he's not been very good, and they're looking to punt him to us on a loan to buy, according to tomorrow's Daily Record.

Call us naive, but while it was obvious it'd be another former Watford or Brentford player, we thought 'overseas' might at least mean from another club, but no, it appears to be an Italian who's been knocking around the Championship for a good long while now. His record isn't the best, although he was once playing decently at that level. We'll have to see what happens.
