Rangers sign another forward ahead of Osijek tie

Rangers have added another player to their forward line in the wake of Steven Gerrard’s recent comments about the shortcomings of the attack.

Liverpool winger Ryan Kent looks set to be heading to Ibrox on loan according to Sky Sports, and if Gerrard wants to add him to the squad list ahead of the Osijek tie, he should have time to do so.

It’s not the most imaginative or exciting signing ever - in fact Kent got some pretty poor reviews for his last stint on loan at Bristol City - but the English and Scottish leagues are very different and he may be much better suited to our style.

Of course, with Umar Sadiq and Lassana Coulibaly also to come into the side, Gerrard might prioritise getting them up to speed. But it’s another forward option for the season ahead, who will hopefully have a part to play in such a massive season.
