Jordan Houston was named captain for Scotland U17s today as they drew 0-0 with Japan, for the second time in three days, before going on to win a penalty shoot-out 4-3 in Spain.
After being named as a substitute for Rangers’ first team against Dundee Houston was one of only two players to start both of Scotland’s fixtures and will look to build on his performances ahead of the UEFA U17 Championship Elite Round games next month.
Joining Houston in Scot Gemmill’s squad were Rangers teammates Lewis Mayo, Stephen Kelly, Jack Thomson and Zak Rudden.
