Four Premier League giants are believed to be interested in Rangers kid Billy Gilmour. Manchester City, Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea have all been credited with an interest in the 15-year-old and have had scouts watching him in recent days as he has represented Scotland in the Victory Shield.
Gilmour has impressed in the youth sides at Auchenhowie and is very highly thought of by Rangers’ coaching staff and the player is reported to favour remaining at Ibrox and continuing his career with his idols.
Gilmour has played in both games for Scotland in the Victory Shield as they lined up against Northern Ireland and then Wales at the newly-opened Oriam Centre in Edinburgh. A man-of-the-match performance in the opening game over Northern Ireland on Sunday was followed up with a solid display against Wales on Tuesday.
Despite his age, Gilmour penned a boot deal with sportswear giants Adidas earlier this year and is tipped to have a huge future ahead of him. Should one of the English sides swoop for him Rangers would stand to receive a fee of around £200k.
