UEFA have fined Rangers €7000 after paper balls were thrown at Progres Niederkorn's goalkeeper in the first leg of the Europa League first qualifying round between the pair.

Fans had thrown countless scrunched up balls of paper at the Luxembourg side's keeper after using them as part of a 'tifo'pre-match, however, the referee saw fit at one stage to pause the game and the Gers will now have to stump up after UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary body levied a fine.
