With Ryan Jack and Bruno Alves signed and Carlos Pena in Glasgow for a medical, Rangers have moved for the next target on Pedro Caixinha’s shopping list by bidding for Norwich City’s Graham Dorrans.

Scotland midfielder Dorrans has been at Norwich since February 2015; who he initially joined on loan from West Brom before making it permanent that summer. Over seven years at West Brom, he made over 175 appearances until falling out of favour under Tony Pulis.

Loanees Jon Toral and Emerson Hyndman returning to their respective parent clubs have a gap in midfield which Caixinha was quickly tried to fill with three midfielders in the likely first four names through the door. Add in the injury-hit Niko Kranjcar and Jordan Rossiter and the midfield is one are of the pitch that we can be certain is going to look VERY different to what we saw last season.
