Graeme Murty’s U20s take on Celtic tonight in the Youth Cup final so we’re taking a look at how the Swifts got to Hampden:

Third round - Rangers 3-0 Edusport

An early goal from Max Ashmore gives Rangers an early advantage at Forthbank but the Light Blues make heavy work of a lower level of opposition. Two VERY late goals from Zak Rudden seal the Swifts place in the next round but it was much more difficult than it needed to be.

Rangers: Robby McCrorie, Houston, White, Barjonas, McCrorie, Wilson, Jeffries (Lyon 64), Ashmore (Burt 59), Akatayi, Rudden, Gibson

Subs: Kinnear, Bradley, Mouanda, Jamieson, Abaradan

Goals: Ashmore 7’, Rudden 89’, 90+’

Fourth round - Hearts 2-5 Rangers

Ryan Hardie’s hat-trick, coupled with a brace for Liam Burt, secured Rangers’ place in the quarter final with a comfortable win over the Jambos at Oriam Centre. Burt’s late strike is the pick of the bunch as he fires over Hearts keeper Kelby Mason’s head from 40 yards. Billy Gilmour makes his first appearance for the U20s.

Rangers: Robby McCrorie; Ross McCrorie, Beerman, Barjonas, Bradley, Wilson, Lyon (Jack Thomson 77), Ashmore (Billy Gilmour 77), Hardie, Burt, Rudden (Atakayi 69)

Subs: Wright, Houston, Jeffries, Gibson.

Goals: Burt 24’, 90+’, Hardie 42’, 63’, 71’

Fifth round - Rangers 5-1 Falkirk

A thumping Ibrox win puts Rangers in the last four. Jamie Barjonas’ scores a world-class equaliser for Murty’s side before the floodgates open and the goals pour in. Another Barjonas goal added to strikes to Rudden, Thomson and Gilmour finish off the Bairns in style.

Rangers: Robby McCrorie, Houston, Ross McCrorie, Wilson (Bradley 67), Beerman, Thomson, Gilmour, Barjonas; Jeffries (Atakayi 78), Rudden, Burt (Lyon 78).

Subs: Wright, Ashmore, Gibson, Abardan.

Goals: Barjonas 23’, 30’, Rudden 57’, Gilmour 65’, Thomson 76’

Semi-final - Kilmarnock 1-4 Rangers (aet)

Rangers needed three extra time goals to finally get past a strong Killie side and book a place in the Hampden final. Substitutes Ryan Hardie, Jordan Gibson and Josh Jeffries all get on the scoresheet as manager Graeme Murty is taking charge of the senior side at Celtic Park.

Rangers: Robby McCrorie, Houston, Beerman, Ashmore, Ross McCrorie, Wilson, Burt, Barjonas, Rudden, Gilmour, Atayaki

Subs: Wright, Bradley, Jeffries, Gibson, Abaradan, Dallas, Hardie
