Rangers have reached an agreement with Al Gharafa to make Pedro Caixinha their next manager, according to beIN Sports journalist Ben Jacobs.

The price of the deal isn't stated, but Jacobs does say that Caixinha will earn 800k per year at the club - a pretty hefty sum.

There's no details yet on the length of the contract or anything else, and we imagine we'll probably not find that out until his official unveiling.

Nothing is yet set in stone, but the most likely plan seems to be that Caixinha will arrive in Glasgow tomorrow, before being officially unveiled on Friday. The club had already delayed one media conference until then, although that was intended to be Graeme Murty's preview for the Celtic game - whether it will now be Caixinha's unveiling isn't clear.

Regardless, with so little time between Caixinha's expected arrival and the Old Firm clash, it looks like he won't be taking to the dugout. So it'll be one last hurrah for Murty, instead.
