Some very good news, at last.

Barrie McKay has said that he will sign a new deal to stay at Rangers in an interview with the Sunday Post.

McKay stated that contract talks began last month but had been put on hold after Mark Warburton left the club. Although McKay said he was grateful for Warburton's help in revitalising him as a player, he also confirmed he is keen to work with any new regime and wants to sign a new deal.

I am just waiting to hear again, basically. I definitely want to be part of things under the new regime. Rangers is a massive club. I am happy to be a part of it for however long they feel necessary."

We're sure that won't be a problem. Hopefully Pedro Caixinha can get him signed up to a new deal and help him to realise his potential.
