Betting challenge: Celtic tipped to drop points and two SPFL accumulators

Last week was bad, but we go again. No surrender WATP GSTQ QS RTID

Hubris got the better of the group last time out, as most of us predicted success for Rangers at Tynecastle, leaving us mostly out of pocket. Phantom backing St Johnstone and FettyWATP predicting a Celtic win to nil helped to mitigate for our two leaders.

Which leaves your current scores as...

Phantom (£103 - £2 loss last week, £53 profit overall)

FettyWATP (£55.50 - £5 profit last week, £5 profit overall)

Callum (£40 - £14.50 loss last week, £10 loss overall)

James (£30 - £20 loss last week, £20 loss overall)

John (£20 - £10 loss last week, £30 loss overall)

Despite the shock last week, everybody's mostly backing Rangers to get the job done at home against Ross County. Elsewhere, there's a few ambitious accumulators and a prediction St Johnstone will take some more points off Celtic.

Odds are correct at time of writing but can be subject to change.

Phantom

Rangers to win 3-0 - 21/2 - £10

Kris Boyd first goalscorer - 7/1 - £10

"Sevco to win 3-0, I'm out pished so cba checking odds but I'll stick a tenner on 1st scorer for big Boydy"

FettyWATP

Rangers to win and under 2.5 goals - 3/1 - £15

Aberdeen -1, Elgin and Clyde treble - £15 returns £207

Rangers will win but at least if they don't I can make funny tweets. As for the other bet, Elgin are in good form and will pump Cowdenbeath, Aberdeen should make quick work of Partick Thistle and Clyde purely for Barry Ferguson.

Callum Hamilton

Liam Boyce to score in a Rangers win - 13/2 - £5

St Johnstone vs Celtic 0-0 or 1-1 - 19/4 - £5

I'm risking little on a couple of fairly long shots - Liam Boyce to take advantage of our defence which is vulnerable to big, physical cloggers such as he, and St Johnstone putting in another big game performance and getting something from the Tims. Both of these are classic "good value, won't happen" bets of the kind that appear in bookies' windows, which end up turning you a £10 yearly profit if you bet about ninety grand a year or can be arsed to trade on Betfair, so catch me losing both when Celtic and Rangers both win 3-0.

James Black

Rangers 2-0, Emerson Hyndman first goalscorer - 50/1 - £10

Rangers, Dundee, Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Hearts and Celtic sixfold - £10 returns £781.94

Emerson Hyndman has been in good form since joining and has been one of Rangers most potent threats. We don't concede that many at home so a clean-sheet could be on the cards. If I'm down to my last tenner next week I'm going balls to the wall.

John McIntosh

Livingston, Falkirk, Hearts and Morton fourfold - £5 returns £124.62

Rangers 2-1, Kenny Miller first goalscorer, 25/1 - £5

John sticks with some admirable ambition as he bids to pick himself up on the bottom of the table.
