Last week, there were a few wins, and plenty of losses with a few accumulators let down. The statistical prediction that Rangers would falter proved to be correct, and almost was for Aberdeen too, save for Jig's ludicrous substitution. Callum was also correct in his assertion that St. Mirren would carry the torch for our motherland and thrash some Welsh nobodies.
Still, those wins were balanced out by losses, so only small profits resulted. The league table, then:
Callum £47 (£6 profit last week, £3 loss overall)
Dougie £44.82 (£3 profit last week, £5.18 loss overall)
Phantom £40 (n/a last week, £10 loss overall)
John £38 (£5 loss last week, £12 loss overall)
James £30 (£10 loss last week, £20 loss overall)
FettyWATP £15 (£20 loss last week, £35 loss overall)
Callum Hamilton
2-3 goals scored in Inverness-Rangers - £10 - 20/23
St. Johnstone, Motherwell, Aberdeen treble - £5 returns £32.17
Betting on Rangers is a mug's game at the moment, but this bet seems reasonably safe. A simple home treble elsewhere rounds it up nicely.
Dougie Wright
Inverness or Draw - £10 - 9/10
Motherwell to win and both teams to score
According to my model, Motherwell should beat Dundee, who are awful away from home, and the BTTS gives some nice extra value. Elsewhere, there's also good value to be had for betting on Inverness or the draw - Rangers have consistently been overpriced away from home this season.
The Phantom
Rangers to win 2-0 - £5
Celtic to lose 2-0 - £5
Rangers are in a rut right now, and in times of trouble you need to stick with what you know - naked hubris.
James Black
Rangers win & BTTS 14/5 - £5
Celtic/Hamilton draw 11/1 - £5
Rangers need to win tonight at Inverness to salvage any hope of 2nd. Celtic will probably hump Hamilton but we can hope.
