Joey Barton banned from Rangers training ground after bust-up

Joey Barton has reportedly been banned from training with Rangers at Auchenhowie after a training ground ‘bust-up’ with Andy Halliday.

The incident reportedly happened on Tuesday, although the nature of the rammy and who else was involved appears to be a mystery. Barton has been told to stay away for the rest of the week and will play no part in the game against Ross County on Saturday. What will happen after that is anyone’s guess.

The Sun also report that similar incidents happened after the games against Dundee and Kilmarnock.

So, great signing, all in all. Come in, two year deal, play like total shite, become a huge riddy, and now get yourself banned from the training ground.

At least we might have cause to rip up his contract and save ourselves a lot of money and hassle. Hopefully the bust-up started because Halliday told him he was playing like a useless waster who would struggle to get a game for Forfar Athletic.
