Jordan Thompson has become the latest Rangers player to head out on loan, as we suggested earlier this month.
Mark Warburton had been on Sky Sports this morning to talk about a variety of subjects, but he's mostly been in the press talking about the ineffectiveness of the U-20 league, and how he'd prefer his young talents to go out on loan instead to prepare themselves for the first-team.
The club duly confirmed Thompson's move to Airdrieonians in the evening, where he'll hope to get more minutes than he managed at Rangers (two appearances off the bench.) The move is another emergency loan, lasting 28 days.
GTBFO is a big fan of Thompson, who was released from Manchester United surprisingly early according to a few regular viewers of their reserves. He clearly has a lot of talent, and is a fan to boot. Let's hope he does well and can come back and get a few games at the end of the season.
