Martyn Waghorn's injury looks like it has the potential to be a sore one - despite his poor recent form, it could be a serious blow for Rangers.

Martyn Waghorn's injury could unfortunately be a bit of a sore one, by the looks of things.

The striker got on the scoresheet early on against Kilmarnock before being forced off just after, and it's reported that the striker is on crutches after the incident. Mark Warburton has said that Waghorn will be 'assessed' in the morning, but gave no more indication as to how bad the injury might be, other than saying the crutches were merely as a precaution.

In the league, we should have the firepower to cope without Waghorn, but it means in the cup our attack will be very light indeed, with Michael O'Halloran and Billy King unavailable due to being cup-tied. We'll be relying on Harry Forrester to make up the deficit, most likely. On the other hand, one for Get Them In The First Team Loyal if Ryan Hardie is turned to at any point.
