Rangers Transfer News: Two more players could leave Ibrox on loan

Rangers have completed their own business for the January transfer window, but could see two additional players leave on loan in Nicky Clark and Ryan Hardie.

The signing of Michael O'Halloran from St. Johnstone has completed Rangers' transfer business for the window, with Mark Warburton saying that the club won't be bringing any more players in before the end of the day's business when the window closes at 11pm. But there may still be a couple of departures.

Mark Warburton was asked about Ryan Hardie in his press conference and confirmed the club were still looking at if he might benefit from some time out on loan. Now, according to the Scotsman, Livingston have approached Rangers over a loan for Nicky Clark.

Of the two, Hardie clearly has the bigger future at Rangers, with Clark surely leaving in summer when his contract expires, although Mr Warburton has often used him from the bench. That may change, however, with the additions of Billy King and Michael O'Halloran - so it's entirely possible Clark could be allowed to leave.
