A Rangers reserves team featuring Lee Wallace, Jordan Rossiter and Eros Grezda scored a 6-2 victory over Motherwell this afternoon.
Grezda got himself on the scoresheet, while promising youngster Dapo Mebude scored a second half hat-trick. Andrew Dallas and Cammy Palmer also got themselves on the scoresheet.
You can watch a video of the goals below:
Grezda, Lee Wallace and Jordan Rossiter were withdrawn at half time, so there’s a decent chance we could see some of those - especially Grezda - against Ayr United at Wednesday.
Mebude certainly won’t done his chances of finding a place on the bench at some point any harm either - he’s still very young, but with Glenn Middleton having taken his chance brilliantly, there might be a chance the coaching staff will turn to him if a place opens up in the near future.
Grezda, meanwhile, will certainly be eyeing a first team spot - but with Ryan Kent and Daniel Candeias in fine form, he has his work cut out for him.
