Rangers tear up Niko Kranjcar’s contract

Frank ‘best in the business’ McParland with another winner

Rangers have decided to click ‘mutual termination’ on Niko Kranjcar’s contract, and after Graeme Murty selected ‘calm’ as his tone before telling him that there wasn’t a place for him in the team, he’s thankfully accepted and will now be on his way.

Kranjcar showed the odd flash of class, but it was far too little for a man who had essentially lost the ability to run, and his career at Rangers was a huge disappointment in pretty much every way.

Still, his wages will now be free for Rangers to pursue other players in January.

Don’t sign players from the American second tier who haven’t kicked a ball in a serious game for about three years. Who’d have thought it? Not Frank ‘best in the business’ McParland, that’s for sure. Well, maybe it was Mark Warburton being a Spurs fan, but still - you don’t see Neil Lennon trying to dig up the corpses of Shunsuke Nakamara and Paddy McCourt.
