Rangers have completed a season-long deal for Welsh international full-back Declan John from Cardiff City.
John becomes the 10th signing of the summer for Pedro Caixinha’s side as the transfer window gets set to close.
During a busy window, Caixinha has signed Bruno Alves, Dalcio, Daniel Candeias, Ryan Jack, Alfredo Morelos, Eduardo Herrera, Carlos Pena, Fabio Cardoso, Graham Dorrans and Aaron Nemane.
The 22-year-old came through Cardiff’s Academy, making over 50 appearances for the Bluebirds, but has failed to feature under Neil Warnock this season.
Adept anywhere down the left, John should provide competition for Lee Wallace as well as giving Caixinha an extra option further forward.
If John impresses, Rangers could look to make the move permanent with the player’s contract up at the end of the season.
