Rangers confirm dates for Europa League qualifier

Rangers have confirmed dates for the first qualifying round fixtures in the Europa League where the Gers will face Luxembourg’s Progrés Niederkorn.

The first leg will take place on Thursday June 29th at Ibrox with a 7.45pm kick-off and the return leg five days later on July 4th at the Stade Josy Barthel. Kick-off is still to be confirmed for the second leg but is expected to be 5pm.

A win will see Pedro Caixinha’s side face the winner of AEL Limassol and St. Joseph’s in the second qualifying round.

It will be Rangers’ first European tie in almost six years and is guaranteed to be a sell-out. Season ticket holders can purchase seats from tomorrow with a general sale starting on Saturday. Premier Sports will also show the match live.
