Joe Garner set for Ipswich move

With a host of new faces already in the door at Ibrox, it looks as though Joe Garner could be on his way out after Ipswich had a bid of around £500k accepted for the former Preston striker.

Garner, who joined Rangers for £1.8m last summer, has struggled to make much of an impact in Scotland and Rangers appear prepared to take a substantial hit to get him off the wage bill as Caixinha continues his rebuild of the Rangers side.

It’s believed Garner will travel south for a medical tomorrow with the Championship side before putting pen to paper on a three-year deal at Portman Road.

The 29-year-old scored 10 goals in 34 appearances for Rangers but, arguably, his biggest impact was on the Xmas charts as Rangers fans tried to get 60’s hit "Glad All Over" by the Dave Clark Five to number one in a tongue-in-cheek tribute to the striker.
