Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha is set to reward 18-year-old left back Myles Beerman with a new contract after the Maltese youngster stepped up to the first-team squad and immediately impressed.
Beerman, who joined from Manchester City last August, has been a standout in Graeme Murty’s Development Squad and has carried his form into the starting XI where he has played a part in keeping three clean-sheets in three games.
With a bright future ahead of him, it looks as though Beerman will provide competition for captain Lee Wallace as he looks to make the left back berth his own.
