Pedro Caixinha's arrival at Rangers delayed again - could he miss Celtic game?

If he's going to take over in time for the weekend, he's running out of time.

Pedro Caixinha was due to arrive in Glasgow today, but has delayed his move by 24 hours, according to reports in the Scottish press.

While he still looks certain to take the role, it seems that one part of the deal has yet to be concluded, and Caixinha has been forced to postpone his arrival at Rangers. Tomorrow morning is possible, but even that may be too soon for the manager.

A Thursday or Friday unveiling, therefore, seems the most likely end to the saga. However, with Caixinha previously eager to take charge early in the week to take on Celtic, it remains to be seen if he'll still be keen if he only arrives a couple of days before the game.

If not, Graeme Murty will of course be taking charge. However, we might end up in a bad situation here - Caixinha is still probably going to end up announced before the game, with hardly any time to prepare. Yet if he ducks out, it's probably not going to reflect well on him. Decisions, decisions....
