Yesterday’s 2-1 defeat at Dundee has left Rangers fans worried that the team isn’t going to be able to secure second place with some even concerned that THIRD might be beyond interim boss Graeme Murty’s side. Alex McLeish (6/4) remains the favourite to replace Mark Warburton as permanent manager* but there have been a few shifts in the betting since last week. Graeme Murty is now joint-favourite (6/4) to take charge with former Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew (9/2) third. Derek McInnes, Billy Davies and Frank de Boer are all 12/1 shots.
Former German international Markus Babbel is quoted at 18/1 with Skybet and the FC Luzern boss has appeared out of nowhere to be linked with a move by the bookies.
*All odds from Skybet. Permanent manager is the next manager to take charge of 10 competitive games.
