Graeme Murty to remain in charge for Dundee game

Rangers FC

After Sunday’s 2-1 win over Morton in the Scottish Cup, interim manager Graeme Murty is set to remain in charge for this weekend’s trip to Den’s Park to face Dundee.

The 42-year-old took in last night’s Development League win over Dundee United as Rangers continue their search for Mark Warburton’s replacement and will have left Forthbank impressed with the performances of Joe Dodoo and Harry Forrester as they led Murty’s usual charges to a 2-1 win. Veteran striker Kenny Miller was also in the dugout as he continued working towards his coaching badges.

It’s unlikely Murty will remain in charge of the first team with a short-term appointment expected soon.
