Rangers could be set to pull off a sensational loan move more West Ham defender Reece Oxford until the end of the season with the clubs in talks over a deal. Oxford, who has attracted interest from Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal is tipped as one of the brightest prospects in English football with Hammers boss Slaven Bilic saying: "On paper he has all the abilities to become a world-class player.’
18-year-old Oxford is a central defender and has made a handful of appearances for the Irons so far this season but it’s thought West Ham would like him to get regular game time to aid his development.
Should Rangers complete signing of Oxford, even on a short term deal, it will likely mean the end of Philippe Senderos’ disastrous spell with the club.
