After moving to Ibrox in a much-publicised move last January, Michael O’Halloran looks set to leave later this month and St. Johnstone boss Tommy Wright has confirmed he’s like to bring the former Saint back to McDiarmid Park on loan.
O’Halloran has struggled to make an impact at Rangers and a move away has looked likely for a while although St. Johnstone aren't believed to be in the hunt for his signature.
Speaking earlier today Wright said said: "I don't think Michael's available for loan. If he was, that would be a player I would urge the chairman to go and try and sign for us, but Michael is under contract at Rangers.
"If there is going to be speculation about his future at Rangers it's easy to see we would be a club that would be suited for him but there's been nothing formal."
Rangers have yet to give any indication that O’Halloran will leave this month however with his opportunities limited there doesn't appear to be any future for the pacy frontman at Ibrox.
