Another day, another transfer rumour.
This time it’s Swiss central defender Philippe Senderos who has been linked with a move to Glasgow with reports suggesting the former AC Milan & Arsenal stopper has been offered a one-year deal.
Senderos most recently played for Grasshoppers in his homeland after stints in England, Spain and Italy but is out of contract after his initial short-term deal with the 27-time Swiss champions came to an end.
Despite the signing of Clint Hill over the summer Mark Warburton still believes he needs reinforcement in central defence and the 31-year old Senderos could fit the bill perfectly. Much more imposing than Danny Wilson or Rob Kiernan he could be the imposing centre-back Rangers have been lacking in recent years.
The Swiss defender has a huge amount of experience having played for Arsenal, A.C Milan and Valencia amongst others and has represented his country in three consecutive World Cups.
