Rangers have this evening released a statement confirming their lack of involvement in the launch of the 2016/17 Puma replica strips tomorrow. Sports Direct, Greaves Sports, InterSports and DW Sports are all believed to be stocking the new kits after Sports Direct arranged for a number to manufactured directly with Puma.
Despite Dave King and Paul Murray being on the board of directors of Rangers Retail they were unaware of the purchase order until Friday evening and have said they are “surprised and disappointed” at the move.
