Have Rangers terminated Puma contract?

The ongoing kit dispute involving Rangers, Sports Direct and Puma may have taken another twist today with Puma’s branding missing from Rangers.co.uk, today’s press conferences and largely missing from today’s training photos.

When Danny Wilson and Mark Warburton appeared infront of the gathered media for the pre-match press call the backdrop which feautures the names of the club’s partners had saw Puma’s logo replaced with a web address for Rangers hospitality sales.

Likewise with today’s training photos where the players went through their paces wearing blue t-shirts emblazoned with the club's ‘"Follow With Pride’ campaign logo. They did have Puma shorts on although covering that up (short of using gaffer tape) or replacing the shorts with unbranded ones at very short notice may have been more difficult.

The last time the club took similar steps was when they removed Sports Direct’s logos from the Megastore windows at Ibrox and also from the official club website.

It may be that the club have taken steps to end their contract with Puma as kit supplier and may look to move to another manfacturer. Like Under Armour.
