Niko Kranjcar is likely to be a Rangers player by the end of the day after the Croatian veteran was spotted at Glasgow airport and Auchenhowie.
The 31-year-old will undergo his medical today and is likely to be unveiled later on. And he might be followed by several others after Mark Warburton stated in his press conference that the club were close on three more players, who could be done by the end of the week.
Matt Gilks is suggested to be one, and looks a certainty to sign as backup for Wes Foderingham, but the identity of the other two is less clear. Adrian Mariappa is far from a done deal, and Tom Bradshaw, James Vaughan and Joe Garner have all been mooted as a potential new striker.
For now though, we can enjoy the potential excellence of a vastly experienced and technically gifted playmaker arriving at the club.
