Rangers have today confirmed that captain Lee Wallace has signed an extension to his contract with the club which sees him pledge his future to the light blues until 2019.

Wallace, who joined the club from Hearts in July 2011, has made over 200 appearances in his five year spell in Govan and was recently recalled into Gordon Strachan' Scotland squad for the friendlies with Italy and France.

Promoted to club captain under Mark Warburton, Wallace went on to have arguably his best season for Rangers last season and will be looking to build on that as he looks to complete the full set of league titles in the Scottish game.
