Rangers have confirmed that Nicky Law, Nicky Clark and David Templeton will leave the club when their contracts expire on May 31st.
Templeton, who joined the club from Hearts in August 2012, was tipped for great things at Ibrox but failed to make a real impact in his four year spell in Govan. Regular injury problems restricted Templeton to only 84 appearances for Rangers, scoring 26, with his last appearance coming in a 3-1 Ibrox win over St. Mirren in August last year.
Striker Nicky Clark was signed in 2013 from Queen of the South after netting an impressive 42 times as they romped to the Second Division title. Used more as a substitute throughout his time with the club, Clark still went on to make 102 appearances and scored 23 times. Clark's last appearance came in last weekend's Scottish Cup final defeat to Hibs.
Ex-Motherwell midfielder Nicky Law was another 2013 signing, joining the club after it's transfer embargo ended, and was a regular in the first team until this season. Law was the club's top goalscorer in 2014/15 but struggled to find a place in the team under Mark Warburton. During his time at the club Law made 114 appearances, contributing 24 goals, and was an unused sub in the Scottish Cup final. His last appearance came in the 1-0 defeat at Livingston in April.
In addition to the three senior players released, it was confirmed earlier this month that Academy players Dylan Dykes, Luca Gasparotto, David Brownlie, Darren Ramsay, Mekhi McLeod, Jamie Brandon, Tom Lang and Jamie Mills would all leave the club over the summer.
