Rangers have confirmed that they will travel to South Carolina for a part of their pre-season training, a play a friendly against local side Charleston Battery.
Rangers will be in the United States from the 26th of June until the 8th of July and will take on Charleston Battery on the 6th of July.
Mark Warburton said: "We are delighted our pre-season programme is now confirmed and we look forward to travelling to America in late June.
"We will enjoy 10 days of warm weather training in South Carolina and play Charleston Battery on 6 July before we return to Glasgow for the start of the 2016/17 campaign.
"Auchenhowie is a fantastic facility but taking the players and staff away for pre-season will be important as we get ready for Premiership football once again."
Unfortunately we just checked and it was North Carolina that Bruce Springsteen refused to go to, so there's our planned outro down the drain. Still, hopefully it'll be a good occasion. Maybe this time we can actually take a few shirts and scarves to sell with us, unlike last time when we decided it wasn't worth bothering with?
