Queen of the South vs Rangers: Predictions, potential lineups, team news, and more

Rangers take on Queen of the South on Sunday, and Martyn Waghorn's absence will present the biggest challenge for Mark Warburton when it comes to his team selection.

Rangers face Queen of the South on Sunday as they begin life without Martyn Waghorn at Palmerston Park.

Rangers have plenty of alternatives to Waghorn in the league, with Michael O'Halloran and Billy King available, with the former most likely to be his replacement on the right flank, although Nicky Clark could stake a claim to getting a rare start for the club, while Mr Warburton could also start Harry Forrester in a bid to increase his match sharpness for the cup games.

In midfield, there's still the question of whether to go for Dominic Ball and Andy Halliday together or only the latter and bringing in Gedion Zelalem or Nicky Law. Our guess is that Mr Warburton will start with both, as most of the other options in midfield tend to be better used off the bench.

The defence, meanwhile, should pick itself as usual.

Here's our predicted team, then (and also, in this instance, the one GTBFO would probably pick.) How would you line up? Let us know in the comment section below.
