Michael O'Halloran is set to finally complete his move to Rangers today, according to Sky Sports News.
We said the move would still go ahead earlier in the window, and again after Billy King completed his move to Ibrox and St. Johnstone were put out of the League Cup by Hibs, and it looks like today will be the day.
O'Halloran's last-minute move will give Rangers plenty of attacking options to choose from, and will be a relief to some who were worried about backing the manager, regardless of the player's relative merits and value. Although if Tommy Wright's assertion that he's a future Scotland international wasn't wide of the mark, then it should still be decent business. The addition of some direct pace to the team should also be a bonus.
We'll keep you updated on the move, and post confirmation when it happens and look at how the player might fit into the side. But in the meantime, this one looks pretty certain to go ahead.
