Rangers will make a move for Hearts winger Sam Nicholson on a free transfer, according to the Daily Record.
The 21 year-old winger has scored an impressive four goals in eight appearances and racked up three assists in the league this season, although has seen his progress stalled by a bad injury.
However, Mr Warburton appears to have no concerns over his fitness and seems likely to move to sign the player on a free transfer as his contract expires at the end of the season.
Of all the players going on frees at the end of the season in Scotland, Nicholson is probably the best, beating out the likes of Ryan Jack and Niall McGinn. He had an excellent start to the season and is progressing well. It won't be a free transfer, though - we'll probably have to pay a decent whack in compensation since he'll be making a domestic transfer.
Rangers moving to sign an injury-prone young Hearts winger who has flashes of brilliance but is inconsistent - what could go wrong?
