Rangers vs Hearts, Lineups: Tavernier in midfield, Burt makes bench

It's an interesting lineup from Mark Warburton as Rangers take on Hearts at Ibrox today - James Tavernier starting in midfield is the most notable, while in-form youngster Liam Burt makes the bench, too.

We speculated that Burt might get a shot after Warburton recently watched an excellent display of his, but it's Tavernier that's the real surprise. He finished in central midfield against Aberdeen, and it seems like he'll start there again, unless the official teamsheet is telling lies and he's playing on the wing with Kenny Miller or Barrie McKay there.

So, the team then:

Foderingham; Hodson, Kiernan, Wilson, Wallace; Halliday, Holt, Tavernier; McKay, Garner, Miller.

Subs: Gilks, Dodoo, Senderos, Burt, O'Halloran, Waghorn, Crooks.

You may also note that there's no place in the squad for Harry Forrester, despite both Josh Windass and Jordan Rossiter still (obviously) being absent.

So, let's see how it goes, and hopefully Burt can come on and bag a few minutes. We'll have live coverage on our Twitter feed and post-match reaction here.
