Rangers are likely to head to Germany for a friendly in January with Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, according to strong rumours.
RB Leipzig have enjoyed a great start to their Bundesliga campaign and sit in 2nd place in the table, just two points off Bayern Munich. That's not all that we have in common, either - like us, they've also enjoyed a fairytale rise through the divisions and have a world-class Scottish winger.
The game will be planned after a mooted trip to Florida was abandoned as Mark Warburton looks to fill a three-week gap without fixtures and keep his side ticking over. The last game before the break, of course, will be the 31st of December Hogmania clash with Celtic at Ibrox, so this could be a useful tonic for the apocalyptic hangover which will presumably follow.
Sounds like a nice wee trip for fans, if nothing else. Flights are pretty cheap booking in advance, so hopefully it'll be announced in plenty of time. We'll see you out there. Wir Sind Das Volk!
