Rangers' pursuit of Toumani Diagouraga looks like it'll be coming to a favourable conclusion. Ian Abrahams of TalkSPORT claims that he'll be in Glasgow this weekend to sign a deal.
Rangers fans may have taken the opportunity to watch Diagouraga in action earlier this evening against Burnley, where by all reports he had a bit of a stinker. Since he was Brentford's player of the year last season, we'll assume (and hope) that was because he'd had his head turned by Mr Warburton.
I understand @BrentfordFC midfielder Toumani Diagouraga will fly to Scotland this weekend and complete a move to @RangersFC.

Nonetheless, filling such a crucial position should give us a much stronger team, particularly against the better sides we're likely to come across in the Scottish Cup. We'll bring you news of this one when it happens, and any other updates and rumours, on our Rangers Transfer News page for the January window..
