James Tavernier was another name rumoured to be courted by English clubs this window, and with his attacking displays this season it's not hard to see why. Leeds United and Sheffield Wednesday were the pair suggested to be harbouring an interest.
Steve Evans has now ruled out a move to United, however, telling the press that he wouldn't be making a bid:
No further transfer developments at Leeds United yet. Evans has ruled out a bid for Rangers' defender James Tavernier though. #lufc

Of course, that still leaves Sheffield Wednesday as a potential bidder, but there's not been anything concrete so far or any talk of a bid or even a rumoured fee, so we'd be very surprised if we entertained any bids in this window. Tavernier's value is unlikely to go down with promotion, and selling him now makes little sense with no natural replacement in the squad.
