Barrie McKay, Jason Holt and Andy Halliday have been offered new contracts, Mark Warburton has confirmed.
The Scottish trio have been key players for Rangers this season, starting every game in what is looking like a hugely promising side.
So far, we don't know how long the deals will tie them down to the club for, but Warburton had this to say:
"I think we are almost there with finalising contract extensions for Holt, Halliday and McKay.
"They have fully deserved new contracts and they now need to work towards securing their next contract with us."
So, there you go. With the performances of McKay and Holt in particular, it's pleasing that they should be committing to us for the long haul. With the club seemingly looking at a defensive midfielder, it's not entirely certain where Halliday will feature going forwards, but it's hard not to see any of them being an integral part of the squad for the rest of this season and the next one.
